Everton fans were not impressed with Tim Howard’s performance against Stoke City in the Premier League on Monday afternoon.

Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Tim Howard against Stoke City at home on Monday afternoon.

Howard was in goal, as the Toffees suffered a stunning 4-3 defeat to Stoke at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

The USA international made two saves, and his performance between the sticks left much to be desired.

The 36-year-old has made mistakes on a number of occasions this season, and it seems that Everton fans want him dropped from the team (see comments on Twitter below).

Howard has been on the books of Everton for almost a decade. The goalkeeper initially joined the Toffees on loan from Manchester United for the 2006-07 season and thereafter made the move permanent, as reported by BBC Sport at the time.

With Everton struggling defensively and dropping points they should not, the fans appear to have lost patience with manager Roberto Martinez for persevering with Howard, who has featured in all 19 Premier League games for the Merseyside outfit this campaign.
