Ed Balls reacts on Twitter to Norwich win, Darren Eadie shares his opinion of Aston Villa

Norwich City won 2-0 against Aston Villa at home in the Premier League on Monday afternoon.

Newly-appointed Norwich City chairman Ed Balls has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the side’s win against Aston Villa at home on Monday afternoon.

Norwich returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-0 triumph over Villa at Carrow Road.

Jonny Howson put the Canaries in the lead in the 24th minute, and Dieumerci Mbokani added the second on 87 minutes.

Former shadow chancellor Balls, who was appointed the Norwich chairman only last week, has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the victory.

Ex-Norwich midfielder Darren Eadie has also taken to Twitter to revel in the win and has made his opinion of Villa clear.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Carrow Road, hosts Norwich had 48% of the possession, took nine shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners.

Visitors Villa had 52% of the possession, took six shots of which three shots, and earned seven corners.

Alex Neil’s side are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from 19 matches, just three points above the relegation zone.
