Aston Villa fans discuss Remi Garde’s future on Twitter

Rémi Garde

Aston Villa are in real danger of getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.

Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to discuss the future of Remi Garde.

Garde was appointed the Villa manager at the start of November following the dismissal of Tim Sherwood.

When the Frenchman took over on a three-and-a-half-year deal (as reported by BBC Sport), the Villans were struggling for survival in the Premier League.

Things have not changed much, with Villa looking set for the drop to the Championship at the end of the season.

The Villans are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with just eight points from 19 matches.

The latest defeat for Villa came on Monday afternoon when they went down 2-0 to fellow relegation candidates - and promoted outfit - Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road.

The situation is dire at Villa Park, and questions have been asked of the club’s decision to appoint Garde as the manager last month.

Villa fans have taken to Twitter to discuss whether the Frenchman will be able to rescue the team from getting relegated or whether the club should bring someone else in now.
