Tottenham Hotspur legend Ossie Ardiles shares his thoughts ahead of Watford tie

The Argentine is happy with the performances of Spurs at the moment.

Tottenham Hotspur go into the game with Watford today hoping to follow on from their 3-0 win against Norwich City in the Premier League on Boxing Day.

Two goals from Harry Kane and a first Premier League goal from Tom Carroll did the job for Spurs as they continued to get back to winning ways in the league following up the win against Southampton last weekend.

Spurs also welcomed a special guest yesterday as former player and cult hero Ossie Ardiles was in attendance.

The Argentine then took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the game and their upcoming fixture with Watford later today.

Ardiles, who played for Tottenham for ten years from 1978 and is a hall of famer at the club who played over 200 games for Spurs and also had a spell as manager at the club, is confident that Spurs can do the trick against the in form Hornets:

Tottenham will be hoping to turn over Watford although will know that the Hertfordshire club will be no easy task considering their recent form.
