The Notts County midfielder is clearly still a follower.
Leeds United certainly want to be returning to the Premier League soon, after a long period out of the top-flight.
Of course Leeds have a rich history but their recent history was not bad either. Prior to relegation they battled for the Champions League places regularly and at one point even made the competition's semi finals.
One man who featured heavily during the David O'Leary-Peter Risdale era was Alan Smith.
A product of the Leeds academy he became a star and England international during his time at Elland Road.
Unfortunately when the bubble burst at Leeds Smith was one of the big names to go - and he angered fans by joining fierce rivals Manchester United.
His career has not really picked up since. He suffered a series of career-threatening injuries and he struggled at Newcastle United before heading to MK Dons.
Now he is at Notts County and, given the fact Leeds were in town, he headed to the City Ground to check them out last night.
He was spotted at the game by Sky cameras and @Surreycricfan on Twitter posted this pic of him at the game:
It would certainly be interesting to hear just what Smith thinks about the current crop of young talent coming through at Leeds - as Charlie Taylor, Lewis Cook, Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt continue to impress.
