Fulham forward Matt Smith has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his admiration of Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor.
Taylor, who can play as a left-back or as a left-winger, is one of the best young players in the Championship.
The 22-year-old was in action for the Whites against Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground on Sunday evening.
Smith, who joined Fulham from Leeds in the summer of 2014, was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Taylor.
Great to see @charlietaylor09 kicking on & doing so well. Different class— Matt Smith (@mattjpsmith) December 27, 2015
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the City Ground, Taylor took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 81%, created one chance, put in eight crosses, attempted seven dribbles, won 33% of his tackles and 87% of his headers, and made three interceptions, four clearances and two blocks.
Forest took the lead as early as the 17th minute through Nelson Oliveira, but Sam Byram scored for Leeds in the 80th minute as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
