Arsenal are back on track after their Southampton disappointment, winning 2-0 against Bournemouth.
One of the brightest aspects to their victory was the display of youngster Calum Chambers in central midfield.
Chambers had a positive start to his career at Arsenal last season but faded in the second half of the campaign. This time around he has been largely a substitute, fourth choice at centre-back and third-choice at right-back.
Injuries in midfield have seen manager Arsene Wenger elect to experiment with using him in a defensive midfield role, and he has been deployed in the position for the under-21 side over the past month.
The match against Bournemouth was a potentially tricky one, with the newly promoted Cherries recently recording victories over Manchester United and Chelsea.
Chambers completed 91 per cent of his passes, winning one tackle and two interceptions, looking assured in his role, playing alongside Aaron Ramsey.
The Sun recently reported Chambers was set to rejoin former club Southampton on loan until the end of the season, but his performance in midfield shows he can play a part for the Gunners as they seek to win the Premier League for the first time in more than a decade.
Here is a look at how fans reacted on Twitter to his performance...
Actually thought chambers had a fantastic game. Looked very comfortable on the ball #AFC— Kanö (@Kane2602) December 28, 2015
Thought Calum Chambers was man of the match. He had an excellent game in central midfield. Passed the ball well and broke up play. #AFC— Daniel Cutts (@Journo_Slash) December 28, 2015
After seeing today's performance I'd prefer chambers over flamini in the DM role #AFC— Akshay Mangal (@rag_akshay) December 28, 2015
Great to see Chambers & the Ox step up today. Though none eclipse the imperious Ozil once again. Good win in a crazy season #afc— Ed Wilson (@ed_wilson87) December 28, 2015
Chambers really hasn't been bad. Might be slow for a full back but looks very mobile in midfield.— JB™ (@gunnerpunner) December 28, 2015
