Wolves trio, including Benik Afobe, react on Twitter to win against Reading

Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated Reading 1-0 at home in the Championship on Boxing Day.

Wolverhampton Wanderers trio Benik Afobe, Carl Ikeme and Aaron McCarey have taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in the 1-0 victory over Reading at home on Boxing Day.

Kenny Jackett’s side returned to winning ways in the Championship with a narrow triumph over the Royals at Molineux.

James Henry’s goal in the 18th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Molineux, hosts Wolves had 40% of the possession, took six shots of which just one was on target, and earned nine corners.

Visitors Reading had 60% of the possession, took 24 shots of which only three were on target, and earned eight corners.

Wolves are 16th in the Championship table at the moment with 28 points from 23 matches. The Wanderers are just seven points above the relegation and are as many as nine points behind sixth-placed Ipswich Town.
