Tottenham players react on Twitter after Norwich victory, including Alli and Lamela

Defence - Spurs v Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur beat Norwich City 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur moved to within six points of top spot in the Premier League after a 3-0 victory over Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

A first-half brace from striker Harry Kane put Spurs in control, before midfielder Tom Carroll came off the bench to make it 3-0 in the second period.

After losing 2-1 at home to Newcastle United earlier this month, Spurs have now won their last two games without even conceding a goal, and closed the gap at the top, given that Leicester City and Arsenal both lost on Boxing Day.

Following the win over Norwich, a number of players took to Twitter in order to react, and pass on messages to the Spurs supporters.

Kyle Walker, Dele Alli and Harry Kane all congratulated midfielder Carroll for his first Premier League goal, whilst Toby Alderweireld and Ben Davies both noted how impressive the atmosphere was at White Hart Lane.

Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela, who both produced superb performances against Norwich, also celebrated the victory on Twitter as they gear up to face Watford on Monday.

Here is how some of the Tottenham players reacted on Twitter after beating Norwich City 3-0 at White Hart Lane on Boxing Day.
