Hull City defeated Burnley 3-0 at the KC Stadium in the Championship on Boxing Day.
The Tigers returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of promotion rivals Burnley 3-0.
After a goalless first half, Jake Livermore put hosts Hull in the lead in the 57th minute. Abel Hernandez made it 2-0 midway through the second half with a wonderful curling effort, and Sam Clucks wrapped up the three points for Steve Bruce’s side with the third late on.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the KC Stadium, hosts Hull had 52% of the possession, took 17 shots of which just six were on target, and earned eight corners.
Visitors Burnley had 48% of the possession, took eight shots of which just two were on target, and earned two corners.
Hull are third in the Championship table at the moment with 44 points from 23 matches, just three points behind leaders Derby County.
