Arsenal slumped to a surprise 4-0 defeat to Southampton away from home on Boxing Day.
The Gunners headed into the Premier League game at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday evening with confidence, but they failed to pick up a single point.
Cuco Martina, Shane Long (two) and Jose Fonte scored the goals for Southampton.
The Saints were the better team over the course of the 90 minutes, and Arsenal manager Wenger did not have any answer.
The Frenchman looked lost as his team were giving away chances and conceding goals, as the photo above shows.
The North London outfit are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 36 points from 18 matches.
Arsenal are two points behind leaders Leicester City and will aim to bounce back on Monday evening.
The Gunners will take on newly promoted outfit Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
The Cherries will head into the encounter on the back of a goalless draw with Crystal Palace at the Vitality Stadium.
