Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Arsenal will return to winning ways in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Arsenal will take on Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium in North London. The Gunners will head into the game on the back of a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium.
Owen has backed Arsene Wenger’s side to pick up all three points against the Cherries and has written on Betvictor.com: “The Cherries have won five of their last six league games in London including at Stamford Bridge earlier in the month but the Gunners are taken to bounce back after their St Mary’s horror show.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Arsenal to lead halftime/fulltime at 23/20.”
Arsenal’s defeat to Southampton on Saturday evening was a blip, as they have been getting positive results until then.
The North London outfit have a strong squad, and the players will be determined to bounce back against Bournemouth on Monday evening.
The Cherries are among the relegation candidates, but they play good and attacking football.
Eddie Howe’s side will head into the encounter against Arsenal with confidence, and one can be certain that they will not make it easy for the Gunners.
Arsenal are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 36 points from 18 matches, two points behind leaders Leicester City.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth currently find themselves 14th in the standings with 20 points from 18 games, just three points above the bottom three.
