Leeds United made it five games without a defeat as they came back to draw 1-1 away at Nottingham Forest earlier today.
The Whites fell behind in the first half as Nelson Oliveira converted from close range, following dreadful defending from Giuseppe Bellusci and goalkeeper Marco Silvestri.
However, Steve Evans' men did hit back in the second period, as contract rebel Sam Byram drove the ball home from 25 yards out to beat Dorus De Vries and draw Leeds level.
It now means that Leeds have won three and drawn two of their last five games, with manager Evans putting a decent run together.
Right midfielder Byram will get the plaudits for the winner, but left back Charlie Taylor was once again outstanding in the Leeds defence.
The 22-year-old has come up through the ranks at Elland Road, and after the sale of Stephen Warnock to Derby in January, the youngster has become Leeds' first choice left back.
Today, Taylor showed that he is going from strength to strength, marking Forest winger Ryan Mendes out of the game whilst also attacking well.
After the game, Leeds fans took to Twitter in order to praise Taylor's performance, even comparing him to another left back, former Elland Road hero Ian Harte.
I know everyone cracks on about Cook which is understandable, but Charlie Taylor really is something else. #lufc— #SIGNLAFFERTY (@Brendencolgan1) December 27, 2015
its fair to say charlie taylor is by far and away our best player #lufc— James Sambrook (@sambrookjames) December 27, 2015
Charlie Taylor is the best left back we've had since Harte at his best, isn't he? #lufc— Bill Carr (@Thelastchamps) December 27, 2015
I'd be very surprised if we can keep hold of Taylor in a few years. #lufc— I'd Radebe Leeds (@Radebe_Leeds) December 27, 2015
How class is Charlie Taylor though? Definitely our prized asset I reckon! #lufc— Mikey Mangan (@Mikey_Mangan) December 27, 2015
In fact, Taylor's performance was so impressive, that Nottingham Forest fans even noted how good he was. They took to Twitter to even ask whether Forest could sign Taylor, having produced such an excellent display at the City Ground this evening.
What did you think of Taylor's performance this evening?
