Jason Cundy suggested on the Goals on Sunday show on Sky Sports 1 on Sunday afternoon that Manchester United and Chelsea could be looking at Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
Both United and Chelsea are struggling at the moment, while Tottenham are flying high in the Premier League table.
Former Chelsea and Tottenham defender Cundy seems to be an admirer of Spurs head coach Pochettino, but he does not expect the Argentine to guide the team to the Premier League title this campaign.
“I don’t think Spurs can win it, but they are in the hunt,” said the Englishman on the Goals on Sunday show on Sky Sports 1 on Sunday afternoon.
“Pochettino has done an unbelievable job. Man United are looking for a new manager. Would they be looking at him potentially? I don’t know. Who knows? Chelsea? Clubs across Europe?”
Pochettino was appointed the Tottenham head coach in the summer of 2014, and he has done a truly remarkably job at White Hart Lane so far.
The former Southampton boss guided Spurs to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last season.
The 43-year-old has also given chances to a number of young players at Tottenham, such as Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Josh Onomah.
