Leeds will take Derby at Elland Road in the Championship on Tuesday evening.
“Derby are showing signs of being champions and Leeds won't be looking forward to this fixture with Paul Clement's team in such fine form,” the Englishman has written on Skysports.com.
“It’s now just one defeat in 18 games for the Rams and they've kept six clean sheets in their last seven games. That's no surprise though with a player like Jason Shackell leading the back line.
“What a signing he's been and it shows the spending power Derby have even over a team like Burnley that were in the Premier League last season. I fancy another win and clean sheet for Derby.”
Derby are in good form at the moment and are on course to finishing in the top two of the Championship this season.
Along with Middlesbrough, the Rams have the best squad in the division, and head coach Paul Clement will be confident of picking up all three points against Leeds at Elland Road.
Jason Shackell will be a key player for Derby. The defender moved to the Rams from Championship rivals Burnley in the summer transfer window.
In 23 Championship appearances so far this season, the 32-year-old has a pass accuracy of 83%, and has won 76 headers, one dribble and 14 tackles.
Leeds, though, will fancy their chances of at least picking up a draw against Derby.
Steve Evans’s side are in good form at the moment and will head into the match against the Rams on the back of a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground.
