The Leeds star netted the equaliser against Nottingham Forest today.
Leeds United took on Nottingham Forest in an excellent Championship encounter at the City Ground this evening with the spoils shared from an entertaining affair.
It was man of the moment Sam Byram who did the trick for Leeds United. He smashed in a late equaliser to earn Leeds a draw which looked like being a defeat for a long period of time.
His goal was excellently taken and, following on from his recent two goal haul v Wolverhampton Wanderers, was yet another reminder as to why Leeds must do everything in their power to keep the player with his contract expiring in the summer.
It certainly had one former Leeds man celebrating on Twitter.
Former Leeds left-back Ian Harte sent out this excited message after Byram smashed in the equaliser:
Harte, like all Leeds folk, will know what a talent Byram could prove to be. At the moment it is looking increasingly likely that Leeds will either lose him for nothing in the summer or sell him at a cut-price in the January transfer window.
Both options would be a poor show from the management at Leeds who should be able to keep one of their top talents at the club for the time being.
