Hugo Lloris refuses to rule out Tottenham Hotspur exit, but says he is still happy at club

Hugo Lloris

The Frenchman has long been linked with a potential move.

Tottenham Hotspur were in great form yesterday in a 3-0 triumph against Norwich City but still had to rely on an excellent performance from their captain Hugo Lloris.

The French international produced a couple of top saves once again as he continues to be an impressive feature in the Spurs XI.

In the past however there have been significant doubts about the future of the player. He has been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe as he continues to prove himself as one of the best keepers in the world.

He has never been one to outright deny such rumours and he did not do so yet again yesterday.

When speaking to Canal + he admitted that he is happy at Spurs but would not rule out a future away from the club:

"I feel great at Tottenham and I hope that the club will grow with me.

"But there will certainly be opportunities for the future.

"But I remain calm and focused on my game."

Spurs are currently hopeful of building a big future with their talented young squad and there is no doubt that Lloris is integral to that plan.

The Frenchman is the level head in the Tottenham team and forms part of their vastly talented spine.

If Spurs continue to perform and push into the Champions League again it is highly doubtful that Lloris would consider an exit anyway.

So if they want to keep Lloris, they will have to continue to progress.
