The West Ham United boss has been waxing lyrical about the German.
Jurgen Klopp has undoubtedly been a hit so far in English football, even if things have recently taken a dip in form.
The new Liverpool boss is a popular figure already in English football - as is another summer managerial recruit.
This week he has been talking about the Liverpool boss and he clearly thinks he is here to stay.
He told German publication Sport1:
"Jürgen Klopp is an outstanding coach. He is one of the best in the world. I like him. What he has done with Borussia Dortmund, was incredible. That was just wonderful.
"My assistant coach Edin Terzic has worked under him at BVB and reported to me a lot of good. In England they say "Perfect Match". That's Klopp for Liverpool. It fits perfectly to the club.
"He has a lot of energy and that's just great. Liverpool plays differently, since Klopp is there. One sees that there is a new power. I believe that Klopp is right coach for the Reds. He will work there long."
Klopp and Bilic are of course quite similar in their 'cool' style and swashbuckling football philosophy. Klopp has recently discovered the perils of Premier League management however with poor results against West Brom and the thrashing at the hands of Watford last weekend.
Bilic meanwhile has had to deal with some nightmare injury issues recently which has negatively impacted on results at the club.
West Ham however will remain confident of picking up a positive result when they face table propping Aston Villa in a game where three points will be anticipated.
