Former Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is worth £100 million.
Marsh made his comments following Kane’s double for Tottenham against Norwich City at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
The England international opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 26th minute and added a second on 42 minutes.
Kane has now scored 11 goals in 18 Premier League appearances so far this season, more than Manchester United trio Memphis Depay, Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney.
This has led to the claim from former City star Marsh that the 22-year-old is worth £100m.
This season Harry Kane has scored more goals than Depay, Martial & Rooney combined! £100m player !'— Rodney Marsh (@RodneyMarsh10) December 26, 2015
Tottenham are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 32 points from 18 matches, three points ahead of Manchester United, who are currently sixth in the standings.
Spurs will return to action on Monday afternoon when they take on Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the league.
