The Tigres winger has had an excellent 2015.
Manchester City have a heap of players at the club from a ton of different international backgrounds. However, the club do not have a Mexican at the moment.
That might be about to change if reports in Mexico are to be believed. It is claimed by Record that Manchester City are one of many teams said to be keeping tabs on the winger Jurgen Damm.
Damm, who has been heavily linked with Manchester United in the past, is said to be on the radar of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan.
The report claims that he might originally move out on loan prior to a permanent deal in the summer.
Damm has European heritage, as you can tell from his unusual sounding Mexican name, and is therefore an alluring attraction for European clubs. His grandfather is German and he holds a German passport.
Damm is currently plying his trade with Mexican side Tigres after joining the side from Pachuca earlier in the season.
His good form this term has been rewarded with a first call-up to the Mexican national team and he has scored once in his two performances for Triclor.
Manchester City could have themselves a real talent on their hands if they can tie down the 23-year-old to a deal this winter.
