Rangers striker Kenny Miller confident of win against Hibernian

Rangers will face Hibernian at Ibrox in the Scottish Championship on Monday.

Rangers striker Kenny Miller has told The Scottish Sun that he expects his side to win against Hibernian next week.

The Gers will take on Hibs at Ibrox in the Scottish Championship on Monday afternoon.

It promises to be a competitive and entertaining game, one which Miller expects Rangers to pick up all three points from.

“We are going into a game which I expect us to win,” the former Hibernian and Celtic striker told The Scottish Sun. “It’s at home, we are Rangers and it’s against Hibs — so we need to win.

“It’s another game and a chance to put a bit of daylight between ourselves and Hibs. We are fully focused on us and doing the right things this week.”

Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 41 points from 17 matches.

Hibernian are level on points with the Gers, but they are second in the standings due to an inferior goal difference.

Monday’s game is not going to decide the Scottish Championship title race, but the winners will get a massive psychological advantage.

Victory for Hibernian at Ibrox will be hugely damaging for Rangers, who have dropped points in recent weeks and have slowed down a bit.

Victory for Mark Warburton’s side could just about kickstart their season and see them go on a long winning run.
