Rangers manager Mark Warburton has told The Scottish Sun that he will make signings in the January transfer window.
The former Brentford boss, though, has suggested that none of the players currently in the squad will leave.
“I hope to make signings next month,” Warburton told The Scottish Sun. “That’s no disrespect to the squad but it’s just making sure we add players we think will give us a bit of quality we haven’t currently got. I don’t expect anyone to leave.”
Rangers have the best squad in the Scottish Championship and are favourites to win the league title this season.
However, the Gers have showed signs of slowing down in recent weeks, and it appears that Warburton has identified weaknesses in his squad.
Rangers have dropped points in recent weeks, and it has highlighted the need for the Glasgow giants to reinforce their squad.
Warburton’s side are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 41 points from 17 matches.
Hibernian are level on points with the Gers, but they are second in the standings due to an inferior goal difference.
Rangers will take on Hibs at Ibrox in Glasgow in the Scottish Championship on Monday afternoon.
