Former Liverpool duo Daniel Pacheco and John Arne Riise were apparently delighted with Stoke City’s win against Manchester United in the Premier League.

Former Liverpool attacker Daniel Pacheco expressed his delight on social networking site Twitter at Bojan KrKic’s opening goal for Stoke City against Manchester United this afternoon.

Stoke returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over United at the Britannia Stadium.

Bojan put the Potters in the lead in the 19th minute, and Marko Arnautovic made it 2-0 on 26 minutes with a stunning effort from 25 yards.

Pacheco, currently on loan at Alaves from Real Betis, started his professional career at Liverpool and played for the Merseyside outfit until 2013.

The 24-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, played with Bojan at Barcelona’s youth academy and was delighted with the Stoke forward’s goal against United.

Former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise, now on the books of Indian Super League outfit Delhi Dynamos, was also following the match, and he mocked United on Twitter, claiming that he loves the fact that Louis van Gaal’s side are boring to watch.

Rio Ferdinand, a former United defender, though, was disappointed with the way the Red Devils went 2-0 down before the half-hour mark.
