Jonathan Calleri, linked with five English clubs, admits liking for Chelsea and Manchester City

The Argentine attacker is being linked with plenty of European clubs.

Jonathan Calleri is clearly a wanted man, with up to five teams in England said to be keen on the player. Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Stoke City and even Brighton and Hove Albion are all said to be keen on the Boca Juniors striker.

Last week, Marca made the claim that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are pursuing the 22-year-old ahead of the January transfer window.

Italian source Calcio Mercato report that West Ham have made contact with Calleri's representatives.

Stoke City were said to be keen over the summer, according to The Mirror, whilst it was Argentine paper Ole who suggested a shock move to Brighton was on the cards.

Calleri has now been talking to Marca, as reported by FC Inter News, and admitted his love for the Premier League.

However, it is clear that he is more open to a move to Manchester City or Chelsea.

He stated:

"I'm very interested in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga. Of the latter, I see very Real Madrid and Barcelona. In England, I follow Chelsea and Manchester City. And of course in Italy to watch football Inter, Juventus and Milan. I like to see a bit 'of everything, even if one of the things that most prefer is the Argentine football "

Calleri has now made it clear that he would like to remain with Boca Juniors until the summer but it does seem as though he will be making a move away from the club at that point.

But for the more plucky suitors it would appear that Calleri is happier with the thought of a move to Chelsea and Manchester City.
