Nottingham Forest will face Leeds United at the City Ground in the Championship on Sunday.

Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has told the club’s official website that he wants the fans to get behind the team against Leeds United this weekend.

Forest will take on Leeds at the City Ground in the Championship on Sunday evening.

The Reds have won their last four home games and will be confident of making it five in a row.

Freedman has urged the Forest fans to make the City Ground intimidating for Leeds.

“I’m looking forward to the game,” the Scot told Forest’s official website. “I played for Leeds United and I know that it is a huge, fantastic club.

“But I know that a lot of teams will come to The City Ground fearing us and we need to make sure we intimidate them through our football.

“We have to be strong in our work, we know they have also hit a little bit of form and we’d encourage all the Forest fans to get down to the game on Sunday and hopefully the best team wins.”

Forest will head into Sunday’s game on the back of a 2-1 victory over MK Dons at the City Ground.

The Reds appear to be back in the running for a top-six finish in the Championship this season, and the players will be determined to pick up all three points against Leeds.

Steve Evans’s side are a point ahead of Forest at the moment, and they also should be looking to challenge for the playoffs.

Leeds head into Sunday’s match against the Reds on the back of a 1-0 victory over Preston North End at Elland Road.
