Delighted Mark Bright reacts on Twitter to Crystal Palace's draw with Bournemouth

Selhurst Park - Crystal Palace - 23/02/2014

The former Palace striker is happy with how the club's season is unfolding after a 0-0 Boxing Day draw at Bournemouth.

Mark Bright was delighted on Twitter after Crystal Palace's 0-0 draw at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Goalless stalemates are never the most glamorous but this was a hard-earned point for Palace - one that took them above Manchester United and into fifth in the Premier League.

And Bright took to social media with a glowing summary of the draw:

A sign of Crystal Palace's progress this season is the fact they are above the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton, West Ham and more.

Just two points off fourth in the Premier League, Alan Pardew's men are enjoying the time of their lives and a hard-earned point against Bournemouth will certainly boost Palace's hopes of staying where they are right now.

Next up for the fifth-placed side is a home clash against Swansea City. There's no reason Crystal Palace shouldn't get all three points there - putting pressure on those above them rather than worrying about who can catch up with the south London club.

It'll take a lot of effort to maintain Palace's form but there's no wonder Bright is so happy right now.
