The midfielder scored a good goal this afternoon.
Tottenham Hotspur have picked up a good three points this afternoon with a solid 3-0 win over Norwich City at White Hart Lane.
Harry Kane was the star attraction once again as he scored two goals in the game in yet another good performance.
The third goal however came from Tom Carroll.
The 23-year-old is not a regular goalscorer. He has scored two goals for Tottenham so far, both of the goals coming this season.
His strike this weekend came from range and it was a good finish that caught the eye of bbc pundit Jason Roberts.
He commented on the game for the BBC and stated:
"Tom Carroll just cuts across his shot a little and gives the keeper no chance. He looks a tidy footballer, with excellent technique.
"Tottenham have been very good today."
Carroll has a big six months ahead of him.
The 23-year-old midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and is far from assured about his long-term future at the club and will now need to push on from this performance and continue to assert himself on the first-team at Tottenham Hotspur.
If he can continue playing like he did today then he might just get that new deal.
