The former Tottenham chairman took much delight in Arsenal's predictable collapse.
Alan Sugar didn't miss the opportunity to mock Arsenal and Gunners 'fan' Piers Morgan on Twitter after their 4-0 loss at Southampton on Boxing Day.
The north London side were humiliated at St Mary's just hours after Sugar's former club Tottenham Hotspur won 3-0 at Norwich City.
That delighted the ex-Tottenham owner, as it no doubt would have done many supporters, too.
Funny you are losing by 3 and a Spurs won by 3. happy boxing day https://t.co/7mQnvZJRQm

A lack of squad depth is certainly an issue for Arsenal but it is their mentality that is the biggest problem. And, unfortunately, that's a problem exacerbated rather than fixed by their manager.
For legions of Tottenham fans, Boxing Day will now be even better. Spurs won 3-0 against Norwich City and the fact they beat Southampton at St Mary's last week will no doubt satisfy them even more after seeing the Gunners lose 4-0 to the Saints.
That is where the real comparison lies at the moment, with Tottenham just four points behind their north London rivals right now.
However Arsenal's competitors fare, it seems Arsene Wenger's men will always manage to fall flat on their faces...
