Tottenham defender Ben Davies outlines two positives he wants from Norwich game

Tottenham Hotspur will face Norwich City at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Boxing Day.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has told the club’s official website that he wants the team to win and keep a clean sheet against Norwich City on Boxing Day.

Spurs will take on Norwich at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Davies wants his side not only to pick up all three points from the encounter in North London, but also to keep a clean sheet against the Canaries.

“For us as defenders, a clean sheet is what we always look for,” the 22-year-old Wales international left-back told Tottenham’s official website. “That’s what we got last weekend and hopefully we can get another one on Boxing Day.

“It was a good result for us away from home against Southampton, but now we want to bring that momentum into the game against Norwich.

“They had a big win at Manchester United last week so we’ve got to be aware that they’re going to be looking for something out of the game this week too, but hopefully we’ll stay solid, the boys up front can score some more goals and we can take the three points.”

Tottenham will head into the game against Norwich on the back of a 2-0 victory over Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 17 matches.

Meanwhile, Norwich currently find themselves 16th in the standings with 17 points from as many matches, just two points above the relegation zone.

Alex Neil’s side will head into the game against Tottenham on Boxing Day on the back of a 2-1 victory over Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford.
