West Ham fans react on Twitter to Matt Jarvis's £2.5m exit

The West Ham United player is making his loan move to Norwich City permanent.

Norwich City’s fans got an early Christmas present when it was announced on the Canaries’ official website that they had agreed a permanent deal for winger Matt Jarvis.

The 29-year-old moved to Norwich on loan from West Ham United in the summer and while he is currently out with a twisted knee, the two clubs have still managed to agree terms for a £2.5million transfer that will officially go through on 2 January.

That is quite a financial hit for West Ham, who signed Jarvis from Wolves in 2012 for what was a then club record fee of £10.75million.

Since that switch Jarvis made 90 appearances for West Ham but with just six goals and nine assists in the process it is no real surprise to see him wave goodbye to Upton Park for good.

While Norwich fans were understandably happy with the move, West Ham supporters were mixed when it came to their reactions.
