Report: Tottenham Hotspur have offered Sandro four-and-a-half year deal, but no deal with Barcelona yet

Camp Nou, Barcelona - Mes Que un Club

The Barcelona talent looks to be leaving the club next month, but will he go to Spurs.

Catalan newspaper Sport is carrying an update today regarding Tottenham Hotspur's pursuit of Barcelona youngster Sandro.

The winger was linked with the club yesterday and it now seems that a deal is progressing well. The report today suggests that Spurs' and Sandro's representatives have spoken over a deal - which will see him sign a four-and-half year deal at White Hart Lane.

The player now simply needs to confirm the transfer, but there is one stumble block still causing a hold up in the deal.

The delay is due to Tottenham Hotspur's refusal for a buy-back clause.

Barcelona have such clauses in place with Everton and Aston Villa for Gerard Deulofeu and Adama Traore respectively but Spurs are not keen on such a deal.

However they are now said to be opening up to the idea, but will want a discount on the current asking price for the talented attacker.

Spurs have just lost Clinton N'Jie to injury for three months and want another attacking option. Sandro is a Spanish Under-21 international who has played 18 times for Barca this season but not as a starting XI regular.
