The England youth international is a top youngster.
Everton take on Newcastle United on Boxing Day needing a positive result after a bit of a struggle in recent weeks.
Since thrashing Aston Villa they have struggled to get results. Three draws against Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Norwich City were followed by a defeat to Leicester City - all four of those games are matches that the fans and Roberto Martinez will believe they could have won.
Newcastle are next and Everton have been training hard at Finch Farm ahead of the fixture - including the likes of Romelu Lukaku, John Stones and Kevin Mirallas all pictured in action.
But the face that really caught the eye was teenage winger Kieran Dowell. The 18-year-old from Ormskirk has been with the club since the age of seven and is an England youth international with bags of talent regarding his future in the Everton first-team.
Dowell has signed a pro contract at the club and it is hoped he can soon make his breakthrough to the first-team.
He has played once for the club, featuring in a defeat to FC Krasnodar in the Europa League last season.
Dowell might be a little way off his Premier League debut at the moment but hopefully he will soon push on from first-team training to first-team action.
