Hearts will hosts Celtic at the Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon, and Owen believes that the Bhoys will register a 2-1 victory.
“I side with Celtic to win 2-1 at Hearts,” the former Newcastle United striker has written on Colossusbets.com. “That was the score line when they played in the Scottish League Cup in October, though Hearts did draw 0-0 at Celtic Park the previous month and have only lost once at home in the league.
“If in doubt though, trust in Celtic, who have only lost two games in 18 in the league.”
Celtic have the best squad in the Scottish Premiership and are firm favourites to win the title this season.
However, the Bhoys’ form in recent weeks have not been great, and manager Ronny Deila has come under pressure.
The Hoops will head into Sunday’s encounter on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Motherwell at Celtic Park.
The defeat in Glasgow came as a surprise, and the Celtic players will be determined to bounce back.
Hearts are 10 points behind leaders Celtic and are out of the title race, but they will not be easy to win against.
