The Dutchman walked out of his press conference yesterday.
Yesterday was certainly a controversial one at Manchester United.
Louis van Gaal was asked some fairly serious questions regarding his future in a week when the recently unemployed Jose Mourinho was heavily linked with taking over from his former colleague at Old Trafford.
Last season at Christmas time Louis van Gaal was jovial with the media at his pre-Christmas press conference - not this season.
He walked out of his presser yesterday annoyed at the media for their speculation over his future this week.
But not before quipping that they could help themselves to the mine pies and mulled wine on offer.
It was a moment that had Jamie Carragher chortling.
The Liverpool legend sent out this Tweet after van Gaal's eye-catching press conference:
I love LVG! Wines, mince pies goodbye!!— Jamie Carragher (@Carra23) December 23, 2015
Manchester United are currently on a horrid run of form. They have not won in six games and have slipped down to fifth in the Premier League table and dropped out of the Champions League in recent weeks.
They will be hoping to turn things around on Boxing Day at Stoke City.
