Leeds United take on Nottingham Forest and Derby County in their next two fixtures.
Leeds take on Nottingham Forest on the 27th December, before they face Derby County two days later at Elland Road.
And the close proximity of the matches means that Evans says he will have to make alterations to his squad between the two games.
"It’ll have to mean squad rotation," the 53-year-old boss said. "The only thing I can guarantee is that I’m not going to play.
“When we’re doing battle live on television against Nottingham Forest, the Derby players will already be 30 hours into their recovery to be ready to coming to Elland Road. That’s a big disadvantage but it won’t affect what we do against Nottingham Forest. It’ll maybe affect what we do for Derby.”
Evans has generally stuck by the same core of players so far during his time at Elland Road and it has been a success for the most part.
He is likely to want to keep that consistency over the coming weeks, too, as Leeds’ results have been impressive in recent times.
The Whites have won three of their last four matches and they have moved to 13th place in the Championship table.
The Yorkshire side have put together their finest run of results of the season so far recently, but their next two outings will be huge tests.
Both Forest and Derby are both in good form themselves and have promotion ambitions this season, meaning Leeds will have to be at their very best to take anything from the encounters.
