Tottenham are reportedly meeting over a deal for Barcelona forward Sandro.
According to a report from Catalan newspaper Sport, Tottenham are in talks over a deal to sign Barcelona youngster Sandro.
Many Spurs fans are keen to see the club bring in another striker in January, with too much reliance placed on star hitman Harry Kane.
The England international is in top form right now, but after limited impact from rookie summer signing Clinton N'Jie, manager Mauricio Pochettino may look to bring in another forward in the January transfer window.
Now, a report from Catalan newspaper Sport suggests that Spurs have already had a meeting over a deal to sign Barcelona forward Sandro, with the front page of the newspaper reading 'Tottenham meets with Sandro to negotiate his transfer, and Barca would give the OK for his immediate departure'.
The 20-year-old, who can play as a striker or out wide, initially started his career with Las Palmas, before leaving for Barcelona at the age of 14.
A product of the club's famed La Masia academy, Sandro has been in and around the Barcelona first team for the last 18 months, and with seven goals in 30 games, he has certainly proven that he has some talent in front of goal.
Now though, it's reported that Barcelona are willing to let Sandro leave, but it's stated that Tottenham will reject any notion of a buy-back clause in the€12m (£8.8m) deal, as there is with Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu.
Sandro may not be the proven goalscorer that Tottenham fans are looking for, but manager Mauricio Pochettino has shown that he can develop youngsters in to Premier League stars - and Sandro could be the latest project for Pochettino if the deal does go through in January.
