Report: Galatasaray want Leicester City outcast Gokhan Inler

The Swiss international has not established himself at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City are in fantastic form at the moment after excellent work by new manager Claudio Ranieri.

Whilst the bulk of the good work has been done by players already at the club, such as Wes Morgan, Danny Drinkwater, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy the club have also brought in some excellent new signings to help them in what is becoming an unlikely pursuit of at least a Champions League spot.

Christian Fuchs and N'Golo Kante have been excellent since their arrivals at the King Power Stadium but one summer signing who has failed to have a similar impact is Gokhan Inler.

That saw him linked with Aston Villa earlier today and now another team is said to be keen on the player.

It is reported by Eurosport in Turkey that the Istanbul club Galatasaray are again keen on the player.

The report states that the Turkish giants want the Swiss international on loan for the rest of the season, with the player said to be keen.

The midfielder needs regular first-team football if he is to assure himself of a place in the Switzerland team for the European Championships next summer.

Leicester beat off interest from Watford to sign the Napoli midfielder in the summer and the deal looked like being a fantastic coup for The Foxes.

But he has played just seven times this season, largely from the bench.
