Report: Queens Park Rangers want Chelsea's Charly Musonda

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly interested in Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda.

According to the Daily Mirror, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants to make Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda his first signing at Queens Park Rangers.

Musonda is highly rated at Stamford Bridge, but he is yet to make his senior debut for the Blues.

As a result, Hasselbaink is confident of persuading the attacking midfielder to join him at Loftus Road.

The Dutch boss is so keen on signing Musonda that he was in attendance at the Chelsea Under-21 match against Middlesbrough on Monday, according to The Mirror.

AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord are also interested in Musonda, according to the Mirror, but Championship outfit QPR are optimistic over doing a deal.

The Rs are set to be active in the Januart transfer window, as they look to strengthen their promotion bid.

As things stand, QPR are five points away from the playoff places, but they are unbeaten in their last five matches in the Championship.

Musonda has made eight appearances for the Chelsea Under-21 side so far this season, scoring once and setting up three goals in the process.
