Leeds United have three wins in their last four games.
Leeds are currently on the crest of a wave of good form with three wins in four games, and Liam Cooper has admitted to the Yorkshire Evening Post that the confidence is flying high in the Whites’ dressing room right now.
Cooper said: “We don’t fear anyone. When you take 10 points from a possible 12 it’s always going to be an upbeat dressing room and rightly so. I know that if we approach games properly and do things right we’ll take anyone in this league. We’ve proven that in the last few games. It’s just a great feeling at the moment. The place is buzzing.”
Cooper has admitted that the dressing room is buzzing at the moment, and it is easy to understand why given the turnaround that Leeds have had under the management of Steve Evans.
They are unbeaten in their last four games, winning three of them and drawing one 0-0, including impressive results over Hull and Preston.
Hull are promotion contenders and were soundly beaten, whilst Preston have one of the best defensive units in the division, and whilst it took an own goal for Leeds to get ahead, they still picked up three points.
They are one of the form teams in the division, and has risen to just five points off the playoff places ahead of the festive schedule. If their form continues, the Yorkshire club could realistically be a top six side by the opening weeks of January.
It has been a good month for the Whites, and if their form continues they could set themselves up for a 2016 that brings promotion back to the Premier League.
