Tributes from Mark Noble’s former teammates at West Ham United have flooded in, after it was announced that the central midfielder will be handed a testimonial match in March.
A team of West Ham United legends will take on the current first team squad at Upton Park, to recognise Noble’s achievements and commitment to the club.
Noble has been with West Ham since he was a 13-year-old, and he has now become one of the most prominent members of their first team.
The central midfielder has been named as West Ham’s captain by Slaven Bilic, after leading by example for a number of years.
Noble has played well over 300 matches for the Hammers to date, and the congratulatory messages have been flooding through on Twitter.
Noble has made 20 appearances for West Ham so far this season, scoring twice, and helping Bilic’s men into eighth place in the Premier League table.
