Crystal Palace are doing well in the Premier League at the moment.
Former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Danny Murphy predicted on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (December 21) that Crystal Palace could finish in a European place this season.
“Where could they finish? They could finish in a European place,” said Murphy. “With the new investment that they have got coming in, things are looking good for the Palace side.”
Palace are having a fantastic season and are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment.
Alan Pardew’s side have picked up 29 points from 17 matches so far this campaign - as many as Manchester United and Tottenham, who are fifth and fourth respectively.
A top-six finish in the Premier League this season is certainly within reach of the Eagles, who are playing good and attacking football under Pardew.
Claiming a Champions League spot is probably beyond Palace, but there can be no denial that the London outfit have progressed massively this season.
Pardew has done a great job at Selhurst Park since taking over the club in the middle of last season.
Palace finished 10th in the Premier League during the 2014-15 campaign, and they are likely to end up higher in the standings this term.
