Benik Afobe scored for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Sunday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Benik Afobe against Sheffield Wednesday away from home on Sunday afternoon.

The 22-year-old striker started the Championship encounter at the Hillsborough Stadium and played for the entire 90 minutes.

The former Arsenal prospect opened the scoring for Wolves from the penalty spot in the 16th minute, but Wednesday staged a strong comeback thereafter and won 4-1.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Hillsborough Stadium, Afobe took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 72%, created one chance, attempted two dribbles, and made one clearance.

The defeat to Wednesday means that Wolves are now 17th in the Championship table with 25 points from 22 matches, seven points above the relegation zone and nine points off the playoff spots.

Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Afobe against Wednesday, with some expressing their concern that he could leave in the January transfer window.
