West Ham United’s poor run of form continued at the weekend, as they failed to win yet again in the Premier League.
The Hammers played out a goalless draw with Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday evening.
This was a game that the London outfit should have won, as the Swans have been hugely disappointing all season and are struggling for survival in the top flight of English football.
However, Slaven Bilic’s side gave a rather insipid performance and had to share the spoils.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Liberty Stadium, hosts Swansea had 73% of the possession, took 21 shots of which just two were on target, and earned eight corners.
The visiting London outfit had only 27% of the possession, took 11 shots of which just two were on target, and earned nine corners.
It must have been really tiring for the West Ham players to chase the ball all evening, and the above photo of Cheikhou Kouyate proves that.
The 25-year-old, who can play as a defender or as a midfielder, played for the entire 90 minutes and was clearly tired.
It sums up West Ham’s struggles against Swansea.
