Confirmed: Arsenal v Manchester City line-ups: No Sanchez

Arsenal host Manchester City this evening.

Arsenal take on Manchester City this evening with both clubs looking to close the gap on surprise Premier League leaders Leicester City.

The Gunners have home advantage, and have beaten City in two of their last three meetings, victorious in the 2014 Community Shield, and last season at The Etihad, although last year's clash at The Emirates ended a draw.

Arsenal and City are considered the favourites for the title, and the winner of this game will receive a big confidence boost heading into the festive fixtures.

City will hope there is no repeat of their visit to North London earlier this season, when they lost 4-1 to Tottenham.

Arsenal have a one point advantage heading into the game, five points behind Claudio Ranieri's Leicester.

City are without captain Vincent Kompany, who has not featured since the last international break.

Arsenal themselves are missing Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin, key players in their 2-0 win over City in January, along with long term absentees Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky.
