Barry Bannan reacts on Twitter after win against Wolves, Wednesday fans respond

Sheffield Wednesday won 4-1 against Wolverhampton Wanderers at home in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his side’s victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at home on Sunday afternoon.

Wednesday returned to winning ways in the Championship with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Wolves at the Hillsborough Stadium.

Although the visitors took the lead through a Benik Afobe penalty on 16 minutes, the Owls staged a brilliant comeback and picked up all three points.

Fernando Forestieri (two), Daniel Pudil and Gary Hooper scored the goals for Carlos Carvalhal’s side, with midfielder Bannan playing a key role in the win.

The 26-year-old former Aston Villa and Crystal Palace midfielder took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 86%, created four chances, put in two crosses, attempted two dribbles, and made one interception and three blocks.

Bannan has taken to Twitter to revel in Wednesday’s win, with the fans responding to his message.
