Afobe sends message to Wednesday fans on Twitter, Graham reacts to Wolves defeat

Wolverhampton Wanderers suffered a 4-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Benik Afobe has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to the Sheffield Wednesday fans.

Kenny Jackett’s side suffered a 4-1 defeat to Wednesday away from home in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Although the visitors took the lead through an Afobe penalty on 16 minutes, the Owls staged a brilliant comeback at the Hillsborough Stadium.

Fernando Forestieri (two), Daniel Pudil and Gary Hooper scored the goals for Carlos Carvalhal’s side.

Afobe has taken to Twitter to reflect on Wolves’ defeat and has sent a message to the Wednesday fans.

Wolves winger Jordan Graham has also taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the final result.

The defeat to Wednesday means that Wolves are now 17th in the Championship table with 25 points from 22 matches, seven points above the relegation zone and nine points off the playoff spots.

The Wanderers will take on Reading at Molineux in the league on Boxing Day.
