Arsenal take on Manchester City on Monday, with a win sure to bring about a smile from the Frenchman.
The Gunners are in the midst of a title challenge this season, with them currently second in the table and five points behind leaders Leicester City with a game in hand.
It has been a tough first half of the campaign though, with them making hard work of progressing in the Champions League, while a number of big injuries have also decimated his squad.
Wenger has a talented squad at his disposal though, and Wilkins says he wants to see Wenger enjoying himself more given the talent currently at the Emirates.
“I just want to see Arsene Wenger enjoying what he’s doing,” he told BT Sport.
“He’s got a great little side going on there and I just want to see him enjoy it a little bit more.”
One thing that is sure to bring a smile to Arsene Wenger’s face is if his side can beat Manchester City on Monday evening.
The two title challengers clash at the Emirates in what is sure to be a big indicator of who will be the eventual champions, come the end of the season.
Their win at the Etihad last season was one that got everyone talking, and another one this season would be more than pleasing for him once again no doubt.
