QPR fans react on Twitter to Sebastian Polter's performance against Bristol City

QPR 1

Queens Park Rangers drew 1-1 with Bristol City on Saturday.

Sebastian Polter failed to impress, despite being given a rare starting opportunity for Queens Park Rangers against Bristol City this weekend.

Polter was brought to Loftus Road in the summer transfer window but he has made a slow start in London.

The target-man has generally had to play second fiddle to the likes of Charlie Austin and Matt Phillips.

However, he was handed a start against the Robins and blew his opportunity by putting in a poor display.

Polter never got involved in the match and he failed to show why QPR brought him to the club before the season started.

In the match, Junior Hoilett’s resurgence at Queens Park Rangers continued, after the winger put in an excellent display against Bristol City yesterday.

Hoilett’s future at QPR appeared to be in doubt, as he had struggled for first time appearances under Chris Ramsey.

However, the Canadian international came back into the team during Neil Warnock’s time in temporary charge and hasn’t looked back.

Hoilett has arguably been QPR’s most consistent performer since manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was appointed, and he got on the score-sheet in his latest outing.

Hoilett finished well from 20 yards against Bristol City, to score for only the second time in his last 40 appearances.

The former Blackburn Rovers man was a constant menace throughout the contest, but his performance was not enough to inspire QPR to victory.

A late Aaron Wilbraham strike prevented the R’s from taking all three points, but it did keep up their unbeaten run.

However QPR fans were more keen to focus on Polter’s performance on Twitter afterwards, as the striker disappointed and here is a round-up of the best reaction.
