Chelsea have a new man at the helm following Jose Mourinho's exit.
Hiddink was formerly announced as the Premier League champions’ new boss shortly before their match against Sunderland on Saturday and he subsequently watched from the Stamford Bridge stands as his new players threw off the shackles to win 3-1 thanks to goals from Branislav Ivanovic, Pedro and Oscar.
Hiddink has taken the role of interim manager until the end of the current campaign and his most important task will be ensuring Chelsea do not miss out on a Champions League place come May.
That will be easier said than done given their current position and the sheer number of sides battling at the top of the table, but Chelsea have more than enough quality in their squad to turn things around.
One player with plenty to prove is Falcao, who has scored just one goal in 11 matches to date and who has missed the last six league games with a muscle injury.
However, the Colombia international was pictured training with Hiddink and he could yet have a big role to play in 2016.
