Glenn Hoddle has praised Tottenham Hotspur for bouncing back on Twitter, after they beat Southampton 2-0 at St. Mary’s on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs went into their match on the south coast having disappointingly thrown away a lead against Newcastle United the weekend before.
However, they were back to their best against Ronald Koeman’s side and Hoddle was impressed by their display.
The former England manager was also quick to credit Chelsea and Leicester City, after they both picked up victories on Saturday.
Great response by Spurs . And Chelsea played with a freedom under Pressure which is a Great asset to Have . But what a result for the Foxes— Glenn Hoddle (@GlennHoddle) December 20, 2015
Chelsea’s win over Sunderland has lifted them away from the bottom three, but the atmosphere around Stamford Bridge still does not feel particularly positive.
The sacking of Jose Mourinho has angered large sections of the London club's supporters, and their frustration was particularly audible against Sunderland.
There are no dissatisfied supporters of Leicester at the moment, though.
Their rise has been nothing short of remarkable, and their good form is showing no signs of slowing down yet.
